Successful Kenworth T680 Road Tour Adds Nearly 50 More Stops Through October

Kenworth announced it has added nearly 50 more tour stops to the successful Kenworth T680 Road Tour, which kicked off in May.

The T680 tour truck and comprehensive trailer exhibit will visit Kenworth dealerships in 30 states and four provinces from July through October. (See the schedule below.)

The Road Tour features the new EPA SmartWaySM Designated T680, Kenworth's most aerodynamic truck ever. The T680 is designed to maximize performance in line haul, pickup and delivery, and regional hauling operations. Available with a new 76-inch sleeper or as a day cab, the T680 is standard with the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX engine.

"The popular Kenworth T680 Road Tour hosted more than 3,000 customers during its initial 15 visits to Kenworth dealerships throughout the United States and Canada," said Erik Johnson, Kenworth on-highway marketing manager. "The tour gives customers the chance to experience the T680, which sets a new industry standard of excellence with its superior fuel efficiency, outstanding performance, exceptional styling and extraordinary driver comfort."

The Road Tour features an interactive, self-guided tour in the spacious Kenworth T680 Tour Trailer. The double-expanding, 53-foot T680 tour trailer has nearly 1,000 square-feet of exhibit space.
