The Fleet-Specific Electronic Parts Catalog (Fleet ECAT) offers not only a parts list "as built" and Bills of Materials information, but also key drawings and illustrations to assist with installation procedures. Fleet ECAT is available through Kenworth dealers for fleet customers with Kenworth trucks.

Fleets receive a custom CD-ROM containing serial number and final chassis bill of material information for their specific Kenworth trucks and the ECAT operational software. They also receive major vendor parts catalogs.

With this tool, fleets can build their own parts pick lists to send to their Kenworth dealer. The benefits are improved communication with your dealership, greater assurance of getting the right parts for your job, and reduced downtime for your truck.

Two years ago, ECAT was enhanced with Visual Search, which displays frame views of a truck. The user simply points and clicks on the desired section of the truck to find listings of parts in that area. Visual Search is designed to work with two to four levels of images and then transfer the user to ECAT. It allows users to easily locate parts without extensive knowledge of bills of material structure or ATA (American Trucking Association) code groups.

See your Kenworth dealer to order Fleet ECAT and for full details including pricing and recommended PC specifications. Each order should include the fleet's name and chassis numbers of your Kenworth trucks to be included on the CD. Allow 30 days for CD delivery.
