Kenworth of South Texas Named 2008 Kenworth Dealer of Year

KIRKLAND, Wash., June 9, 2009 – Kenworth of South Texas in San Antonio, Texas, was named 2008 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Columbus, Ohio.
“It’s a tremendous achievement for Kenworth of South Texas to receive the prestigious Kenworth Dealer of the Year award,” said Jay Ellison, president of Kenworth of South Texas, which operates dealerships in Corpus Christi, Laredo, Pharr and San Antonio, Texas. “We are especially proud of our employees, who truly represent The World’s Best® trucks with their outstanding dedication and customer service. We also thank our many customers for their business and loyalty.”

Kenworth of South Texas was chosen as Kenworth Dealer of the Year from among Kenworth’s six Gold Award winners for 2008. Other Gold Award winners are Custom Truck Sales - Regina (Regina, Sask.), Edmonton Kenworth (Edmonton, Alb.), GreatWest Kenworth (Calgary, Alb.), Kenworth Sales Company (Salt Lake City, Utah), and MHC Kenworth (Colorado).
